ABEOKUTA VLOG: Exploring OOPL, Visiting Olumo Rock, Meeting Former President Obasanjo & More

Hey Everyone,

In this vlog, I’m excited to take you along on our family vacation to Abeokuta, Ogun State! From exploring the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) to climbing the iconic Olumo Rock, this trip was filled with memorable moments.

Back in 2019, we visited Ibadan, Oyo State, where we stayed at IITA and toured some incredible spots—if you haven’t seen that vlog yet, be sure to check it out.

We visited Abeokuta in December 2020. As usual, it took me a while to edit and upload this vlog, but better late than never, right?

We stayed at the Green Legacy Resort, located within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) complex. OOPL is owned by former president Olusegun Obasanjo, and we were lucky enough to meet him during our stay! OOPL is a massive complex filled with activities, including a kids’ amusement park, a cinema, a wildlife park, and even a church and mosque. The resort itself was so comfortable, and there were plenty of places to explore.

In this vlog, I also take you along on our visit to Olumo Rock, one of Abeokuta’s most famous landmarks, and we had a fun boat ride at Olusegun Obasanjo Farms.

After the rollercoaster that was 2020, this trip was the perfect way to end the year on a high note.

I hope you enjoy the vlog as much as we enjoyed the trip!
